CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS
The Trocaire experience extends far beyond the classroom with an array of extracurricular activities from which to choose to meet your particular interests. Take part in activities with students like you - including those non-traditional students with family and work obligations.
Student clubs and organizations evolve from either personal interests and needs or academic interests. Those funded through the student life fee must have an advisor and have bylaws on file in the Student Activities Office. Trocaire will recognize only those clubs/organizations whose purpose is in accord with the philosophy and mission of the college.
COLLEGE COMMITTEES
In order to assure that student interests are represented in college governance, representative students sit on several college committees, including the Board of Trustees, Extended Cabinet, the Security Advisory Committee as well as other planning groups as needed. Many of the student representatives for these committees are filled from the members of the Student Association.
DIVERSITY CLUB
The Diversity Club is forming in the fall of 2009 as an opportunity for students to share their cultures and preferences with the college community. A more formal description of this club will be written once the club meets.
