The Office of Foundation, Corporate and Government grants is part of Trocaire College’s Institutional Advancement Department.  The Director of Foundation, Corporate and Government Grants works closely with the President and his Cabinet, and members of the faculty and staff.  The Director continuously seeks to boost grant funding to Trocaire through cultivation and stewardship activities and ensuring that the college submits the best possible proposals for funding. 

Foundation, corporate and government grants are critical to Trocaire’s fundraising efforts.  They provide support for traditional areas of need, such as scholarship funds and academic programming, facilities renovation and they enable Trocaire to launch new initiatives without depleting the college's unrestricted resources.

Trocaire’s ability to raise grant funds remains strong despite a highly competitive environment.  During the last year, the office of grants has experienced a substantial increase in the number of funded grants.  Almost $1 million in grants has been received from corporations and foundations while the federal government has awarded $1.7 million.  In addition, a New York State allocation of $214,000 has been received through the Perkins Vocational Education Act.
