The Hospitality Management curriculum is designed to serve both students who plan to enter the workforce upon graduation as well as students who wish to pursue a baccalaureate degree. Trocaire College has an articulation agreement with Niagara University. The Hospitality Management Program also has articulation agreements with Erie 1 BOCES, Erie 2 BOCES, Lancaster High School, and West Seneca East and West High Schools.
The Russell J. Salvatore School of Hospitality & Business at Trocaire College offers students 'hands-on' experience with our unique partnership at Salvatore's Grand Hotel and Russell's Steaks, Chops and More Restaurant. The curriculum is designed to develop the skills and abilities required for a successful career in hospitality management. Career opportunities exist for managers in hotels, restaurants, clubs, catering operations, food service providers, sales, production, travel and tourism and many other areas of this dynamic, growing and rapidly evolving industry.
The hospitality industry is one of the top economic drivers in the Western New York economy. Development and employment opportunities in this field are projected to continue a growth pattern through at least 2020 with outstanding positions available for graduates in Western New York. Our combination of meaningful classroom instruction, 'hands-on' experience, and valuable hospitality internship culminate in a quality education for tomorrow's industry leaders.
Admission Requirements:
- High School diploma (minimum 75% average) or GED diploma with a minimum score of 2500
Minimum Degree Requirements:
- A total of at least 65 semester hours with a Quality Point Average of 2.0
- Core Curriculum Requirements:
College Seminar (GS100) or College Success (GS102)
Humanities (EN101 or EN 200)

Hospitality Electives (6 credits) - Other Requirements:
Uniforms consisting of a chef's coat, black pants, safety shoes, chef hat, name tag, dress white shirt and bow tie are required.
