To continue providing quality programs today and into the future, please consider making a gift to the college in one of the following ways:
There are approximately three times a year when individuals will receive information about the opportunity to contribute to the annual fund; the first opportunity is in the fall of each year. Alumni, friends, faculty, staff and administration of the college are asked to consider making a donation to the Annual Fund. This fund is considered the foundation of philanthropic giving to Trocaire College. All gifts to the Annual Fund are unrestricted and support all aspects of campus life at Trocaire.
DONATE ONLINE Many corporations today encourage philanthropic giving by offering matching gift programs. If you should make a donation to the college, please check with your employer to see if a matching gift can be made to Trocaire College. Generally, there is a one-page form that you would submit through your employer for the matching gift.
DONATE ONLINE You may wish to designate memorial/honorary gifts on behalf of a family member, friend, alum or others by donating to the college. Remember your loved one for a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion by sending a gift to Trocaire in their honor or memory.
Courtyard Bricks and Pavers
Over the past few years, Trocaire College has proudly updated its courtyard for the use of our students. You may wish to purchase an engraved brick or paver to leave a permanent legacy for yourself, a loved one, a faculty member, corporation or classmate. Please click on the attached link for more information about how to purchase your lasting legacy. We invite you to stop by at any time to spend to visit the lovely courtyard at our Choate Ave campus. Trocaire College Scholarship Fund
We are pleased to be able to offer a variety of scholarship opportunities to students based on academic standing, need or both. The generosity of individuals like yourself is recognized every year when students are presented with stipends of all sizes at the Annual Honors Convocation Ceremony. You may wish to name a scholarship in honor of a loved one in the amount of $500/$1,000 per year or it may be desirable for you to establish an endowed scholarship with a minimum donation of $10,000. This allows you, based on return on investments, to grant a scholarship on a yearly basis for an indefinite period of time. You may establish the criteria for the scholarship or allow the college to determine the qualifications for your gift. Contact the Institutional Advancement Office at 716-827-4340 to establish a scholarship fund.
DONATE ONLINE The Annual Reflections Awards and Scholarship Dinner is held in the fall of each year with proceeds supporting the Trocaire College scholarship fund. Individuals and companies may contribute to this event in the following ways: purchase a corporate sponsorship, purchase an advertisement in the event's program book, make a donation, purchase a patron ad or purchase tickets to the event. This event is the college's premier fundraising event. For additional information contact the Advancement Office at 716-827-4340.
Sister Barbara Ciarico, RSM Legacy Society
Perhaps now is not a convenient time for you to make a contribution to the school, but in planning for the future, you may wish to consider a gift that can be left in your will. If you would like to do so, please contact your attorney to make arrangements and/or contact the school for information about how to become a member of the Sister Barbara Ciarico, RSM Legacy Society by calling 716-827-4340.
Making a substantial gift to the college through planned giving or a charitable remainder trust does not have to be complicated and can be beneficial as you plan for your retirement years. Financial planners are well versed in the many options that are available today. For more information on planned giving please contact the Institutional Advancement Office at 716-827-4340.
Gifts of Stock
In many instances, donors find that making a gift of stock can be helpful when divesting of assets, whether it be for tax purposes or otherwise. Please contact the Institutional Advancement Office at 716-827-4340 for more information.
Over the years, generous gifts to the college have provided numerous naming opportunities including the Rachel R. Savarino Library, the Helen & Joseph Klausman Office for Institutional Advancement, and the Russell J. Salvatore School of Hospitality & Business. Naming opportunities can be for equipment, a classroom, laboratory or a conference room. Check with the college's Office for Institutional Advancement for naming opportunities that exist at the present time.
