Trocaire College provides continuing education and professional training for the community through its Department of Workforce Development & Lifelong Learning. Its mission is to provide the education necessary for continuing economic growth.
Workforce Development
The Workforce Development Department offers a wide range of training and educational opportunities for individuals getting started in the workplace, furthering their current careers, or working to meet licensure/certification requirements. A variety of programs and training are available not only for businesses, but for personal and professional growth.
Lifelong Learning
The Lifelong Learning office offers professional and personal development classes at Trocaire College and online via the Web. Classes are specifically designed to meet the ongoing educational needs of our alumni and the local community. Continuing Education Units (CEU's) are granted for appropriate professional development courses. Personal development and community interest programs as well as test preparation and wellness classes are offered to the community. Listings of all programs are available each semester in the Lifelong Learning Course Catalog.

Online Credit Free Programs
Trocaire College offers more than 300 instructor-facilitated online courses. Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction, and interaction with fellow students, participants in these courses gain valuable knowledge at their convenience. The following online courses are offered through partnerships between Trocaire College and Education To Go, Penn Foster and ProTrain - all industry leaders in online continuing education courses.
