Trocaire College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Dean for Nursing & the proposed RN Baccalaureate Degree.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the curriculum of the upper level of the 2+2 bachelors RN degree including developing and submitting all required documentation to the state and other accrediting bodies for approval.  Once the degree is approved the incumbent will be responsible for re-accreditation, on-going curriculum development and revisions, student recruitment as well as coordination of the Program Directors for the two year RN Program, the Practical Nursing Certificate Program and supervision of the Clinical Coordinator.  The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating communication with the NLN and ensuring collaboration, continuity and ease of transition between nursing programs. 

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctoral degree (required), with high preference placed on Doctorates in Nursing or Nursing Education, a valid NYS RN License as well as familiarity with accrediting bodies and their requirements, management experience, classroom and clinical teaching experience especially on the Baccalaureate level, experience in curriculum development and a broad knowledge of nursing specialties.
