Trocaire College announces a full-time faculty position in Mathematics with an anticipated starting date of late August 2008.  A strong commitment to teaching is essential.  Trocaire is seeking candidates who can achieve excellence in teaching and who, in an undergraduate milieu, will find opportunities to grow professionally.  Responsibilities will center on mathematics teaching from introductory courses to advanced undergraduate.  Additional duties include advisement, curriculum development and professional service.  All faculty members are expected to interact with students on a one-on-one basis.


QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred:  Earned PH.D. in Mathematics or Statistics;
Required:  Master’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics
Previous college-level teaching
Knowledge of/experience in curriculum development of advanced undergraduate courses
